Excellent build quality
The packaging was great, no damage occurred in shipment, assembly was straightforward and it worked quite well when plugged in. Just a few criticisms: The access hole on the 40-liter tank is simply too small. It was all I could do to force my forearm in far enough to fasten the water spigot. Second, I will be adding a pump to provide distilled water under pressure to my refrigerator and kitchen sink area. The float in the reservoir tank is fine for shutting the distiller off when it's full, but I had hoped to add a microswitch to disable my pressure pump if the water level in the reservoir gets low. The design of the float does not lend itself to that use. The unit is as attractive as the photos on the web site. I'm quite happy with it. Great product!

makes 179ppm to 0ppm!
Really like the quality of the 8/10 auto machine, the welds, and everything about it. It took 179ppm water (tap water) and made it somewhere between 0 and 1ppm. No weird tastes - pretty easy to get going and hook up. [Customer provided helpful tips that are omitted due to space] Overall, really happy this is made in USA, and seems to be worth the price; I couldn't build/design one for less than this.
