    Pre-Filter with Scale Inhibitor without fittings available now. Pre-Filter with Scale Inhibitor with fittings on backorder (2 month lead time required). Pre-Filter Scale Inhibitor available with or without Fittings. Pre-filters are recommended to be changed every 6 months or so, depending on the quality of the source water. The scale inhibitor filter has treated carbon with phosphate internally. The treated carbon in the scale inhibitor is recommend for well water or any raw water that may not be treated at all, before entering the distiller.
